These are from a b'day party we went to last Saturday for one of Hannah's friends from Isis -- Jack was apparently very interesting.... 

New Shoes!

Now that there is a hint of fall in the air, we decided it was time for Hannah to get a pair of shoes that fit (this after we tried to put on her shoes from the spring and realized how much her feet have grown this summer!). She and I took a trip to the mall today and got her a pair of "cruisers" from Clarks. They have soft soles and are perfect for those learning how to walk - and so far I think she likes them..... although bare feet are definitely still her preference! 

Block Island

As Katie and Melissa have already posted, we're just back from a fun visit to Block Island. Despite the rainy weather we had a great weekend, and we thank John and Melissa again for hosting us (and the Doyle's for letting us use their house)! We definitely need to plan another trip soon (when everyone can come!).  

This picture's already been posted but it's so cute, it needed posting again. Congrats to John for getting all the kids to look in the same direction by making funny faces/noises (and to Katie for capturing the picture!) .... 

I (as usual) forgot my camera but I did get a couple cute pictures with my iphone....

Family Reunion....

We had a family reunion back in August for the Lowe side of the family. Most of us are relatively local but mygrandmother made the trip up from Florida for the event, and my cousin Ramsey flew in from Colorado. We haven't all been together in years, way too long, and it was really fun to see everyone and have the weekend together. I, of course, forgot my camera but my Mom did share a couple pictures (FINALLY!) .....

Meeting New Friends

Our good friends came to visit from CT on Sunday with their two boys. We had a great time catching up - and Ben and Hannah really enjoyed meeting each other (he's just two weeks younger than her).

Saturday Morning Traditions

As many of you know, there's nothing that Wilson and I enjoy more on a Saturday morning than an egg and cheese bagel sandwich from the local bagel shop. Years ago it was a good cure for a big Friday night, now it's just a nice way to start the weekend. Hannah has quickly come to love the tradition - although for now she sticks with just a plain bagel. 

We're also trying to eat more fruit that's not from a jar...... Hannah seems to like pears although they are sometimes a little too slippery and therefore become a major source of frustration. 

And lastly, we wanted to show Tom that she really is a General Mills baby. While she hasn't yet tried  biscuit (but we promise she will soon), she still enjoys her Cheerios and eats them by the fistful..... and we LOVE the new bib. It will be put to good use - we assure you! Thanks!

I keep forgetting to bring my camera with me so until certain family members (MOM) download pictures off their camera and send them to me, I don't have anything to post. 

Luckily, Grandy came through again on Tuesday and got a couple cute pictures of Hannah that I can share. 

Here she is doing her new favorite thing.... climbing up the stairs. Unfortunately she doesn't understand the need to be fearful about going down.... but we're working on it!
