Memorial Day

We spent a beautiful Memorial Day weekend in Chatham. The weather was absolutely perfect and Hannah had a great time exploring everything! She particularly enjoyed playing on the deck. Grandma created a nest for her so when she tipped over, she landed on soft pillows. And she LOVED playing with Mia - who was a very patient dog this weekend and let Hannah pull her hair and her tail and her ears.

Hannah also thoroughly enjoyed digging in the sand and putting her toes in the ocean. Unfortunately the beach pictures seem to be lost in cyber space but we guarantee there will be other beach shots of Hannah this summer. Given how much she enjoyed her first trip to the beach (and how well she slept after it!), we plan to spend lots of time there this summer.

Despite the lost beach pictures, Grandma did an excellent job getting several other fantastic pictures this weekend. Here are a few (or a dozen!) to enjoy.....

Exploring the grass.....
Playing outside with Daddy....
"Gardening"....
Playing with Papi and Mia....
Please stop taking my picture......
Entertaining us on the deck in the afternoon sunshine.....
Reading.....
Mmmm.....
Laughing with Grandma....
A very interesting deck....
My hat strings make a good toy when I can't find anything else.....
Catching up with Uncle Eben....

May

Happy May! We're sorry for the lack of posts lately - we've been busy!! Hannah's perfected the art of sitting and rolling and is currently working on crawling. She gets up on all fours but doesn't actually go anywhere.... we're predicting she'll be moving pretty soon though!

Here she is modeling her Red Sox gear - and my lens cap!
Balls have become a new favorite toy now that she can sit up. She loves having the ball rolled to her although we're still working on teaching her to roll it back. Usually it (like everything else) just ends up in her mouth!

Now that the warm weather is really here, we are spending lots of time on the porch. Hannah loves her swing!
