The Bartlings Visit...

Wilson's cousins came over for a visit a couple weeks ago and we had a great time catching up with them.

Here's Jim holding Hannah - despite her face in this picture she was all smiles for him earlier in the evening. And she's very excited to meet her new cousin in September!

Tony didn't try to hold Hannah as I guess he doesn't usually get the best response from babies. But she did flash a few smiles his way and was happy to hold onto his fingers. And she really liked chewing on Jess' bag...
Meeting Wicklow....

And she LOVED the Tigger toy that Tony and Jess brought her....

Sitting

Hannah is now officially sitting - and very proud of herself!

Spring

Spring has finally come to Boston and with that comes two things.

Baseball hats (Hannah is particularly partial to Wilson's Dartmouth hat - we think it's because she misses her Aunt Allie)....

And swings! We put up Hannah's first swing on our back porch this past weekend and she already likes it. We're anticipating spending lots of time on the porch with Hannah in her swing and us in our rockers this summer.... and we can't wait!

Happy Birthday!!

We helped John celebrate his birthday this evening. As we've mentioned previously Hannah recently discovered cups and spoons. Tonight she discovered cans also make good toys (edit for those that are concerned - we didn't actually let Hannah play with a can - this was just for picture purposes!) ....
Ezra was over to help celebrate and entertained both Hannah and Molly....
Aunt Kate was here last weekend and brought Hannah her first piece of Michigan gear. I suspect her new sweatshirt will get lots of wear on Saturday's starting in the fall....
Hannah's officially six months old today. Hard to believe until you look at a picture of her when she was first born and realize how far she's come.... but we still think she should slow down on the growing!

Solids!

Hannah had her first solid food this morning - rice cereal (don't try it -- gross!!!!!). She wasn't too interested - she thought chewing on the spoon and/or her bib was more exciting -  but she managed to gag down a few bites.  We'll see how tomorrow goes!

Happy Rainy Saturday!
