Molly!!

We had the pleasure of meeting Molly Doyle this evening. She is an absolutely gorgeous little girl - and we had so much fun meeting her. We thought this picture proved that she is most definitely a Doyle - and shows how happy she and her Dad are to be home! Congrats Melissa and John - she's beautiful and we can't wait to see what adventures await as we watch our girls grow up together!

New Mom's Group

Hannah and I have been attending a New Mom's class weekly since early November. We posed all the kids for a picture today and it was too cute not to share! And someone took a good picture of Hannah and I so for all those have been requesting more pictures of Hannah and her parents - here you go! 

Holiday Fun

We attended a Christmas party at our good friend's Davis and Katie's on Saturday night. It was a wonderful party - there were tons of kids running around and we were all remarking how times have changed. The number of apple juice drinks definitely out numbered the wine drinkers. Highlights of the evening included:

Comparing Hannah's head of hair to our friend John's .... we think Hannah won... 

Watching our friends Liz and Ben's son Ethan devour his first gingerbread cookie... in his pajamas no less (we're still wondering if that affected his sleep Saturday night?!) :-) 
Attempting our first family photo - Hannah didn't exactly cooperate but we figured it was worth posting anyways. We'll keep trying!! 

Uncle Eben Visits

Uncle Eben (Hannah's only uncle) came for a visit today. Hannah slept peacefully in his arms - in her new "arms over the head" position and we decided we needed to capture it on film.

We can't wait....

... to meet Pirate Pat!! Our good friends John and Melissa are expecting their first baby any day now. Hannah (and her parents) is so excited to meet Pat - and find out whether she'll have a new girlfriend or boyfriend to play with. We got to visit with John and Melissa and Pat on Saturday and here's one of Hannah hanging out with Pat - on the bouncy ball which is her new favorite toy (Mom and Dad are quickly developing strong ab and back muscles from bouncing her!).

New Friends

Hannah and I are in a New Mom's group that meets weekly and we've made some great friends in our class. Today we met some of them at the Natick mall for pictures with Santa. I'll try to post Hannah's picture with Santa soon (I have to scan it first) but in the meantime here are some pictures with her friends Vivian, Jack and Luka. 

Stretching and Growing

Hannah has been doing a lot of stretching lately.  This is one of her favorite poses as she's waking up from a nap - and isn't swaddled so tightly that she can't move her arms!! 

With all that stretching comes growing. She's finally starting to fit into some of her new clothes - much to Mom's delight - and she wore her first dress on Thanksgiving. We decided we needed to document the occasion with a photo shoot.

First Thanksgiving

Hannah celebrated her first Thanksgiving this week. She thoroughly enjoyed her turkey (despite not cooperating when we tried to pose her next to the turkey) and her first trip to Cape Cod.  It was even warm enough for a walk on the beach! 

Hannah's First Smiles

Hannah has just recently started to smile. Sometimes it's more of a smirk than a real smile but Mom and Dad like to think it's because we're really funny!
